The Flow 20" is a serious kids’ street-trials bike, scaled down from full-size setups so young riders can learn real skills. Compact geometry, a strong 6061 frame, steel fork, disc mounts and carefully chosen parts from Inspired, Trialtech and Avid make it light enough to throw around but tough enough to handle proper progression.

The Flow 20" is built for kids who watch the big street-trials edits and actually want to learn how to ride like that. It takes the same core ideas as the 24" and 26" street bikes and scales them down for younger, lighter riders, so they can start learning proper trials and street technique from day one. The geometry is designed to help young riders build real bike handling skills, not just roll around. Short chainstays and a compact, upright riding position make the bike easy to bunnyhop, spin and manual, while still staying stable when riding along on two wheels – or one.
A 73° head angle and short-offset fork give direct, responsive steering that makes front-wheel tricks easier to learn. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium with full-size tubing, a downtube gusset and a custom BB yoke that clears a 24T chainring, giving proper stiffness and strength where it matters. The steel fork uses oversized legs and dropouts for extra durability. Overall weight is kept sensible so kids can move the bike around in the air, but the construction is tough enough to handle plenty of crashes and progression. Out back, the frame is optimised around a 24:16 gear (fitted as standard), which allows compact horizontal dropouts and clean, precise chain adjustment with the custom CNC-machined alloy chain tugs. Both frame and fork include CNC-machined disc mounts, so braking can evolve with the rider’s needs.
Spec is chosen to offer real performance at a sensible price. The front end uses an Inspired aluminium riser bar and Trialtech forged stem for a solid, confidence-inspiring cockpit. The drivetrain is based on forged aluminium cranks with sealed bottom bracket, KMC chain, Wellgo nylon pedals and Flow chain tugs. Braking is handled by Avid FR5 levers and BB5 discs for reliable, easy-to-control stopping power, with Magura MT4 available as an upgrade. Tough Inspired rims built on smooth-running Trialtech sealed hubs complete a wheelset that’s ready for serious learning and hard use.
A wide selection of brakes ensures you get the right bang for your buck: BB5's offer reliable braking performance while removing the risk of damaging hydraulic hoses, while the entry level MT4 provides improved lever response, power and modulation. High end choices like the MT7 HC3 and Hope brakes offer additional adjustability to dial in the right amount of power, reach and travel while ensuring that when you pull the lever in an emergency, the brake will remain locked no matter what.
When choosing brakes for a kids bike, considerations should be made - mechanical brakes are robust but hydraulics, though more delicate, will offer superior braking performance. This is due to the small hand not having to overcome the springs of a mechanical brake. We recommend hydraulics for kids who are aware that more care needs to be taken when riding and who specifically want to get into moves which require leaning on the brakes, such as pedal kicks and other static moves.
