Inspired Hex Team 26" bike

The Inspired Hex Team is the flagship 26" street bike in the Hex line, built for riders such as Joacim Lundgren who want a full-on, competition-level setup out of the box. The front triangle uses a butted tubeset with external gussets and an integrated tapered head tube, giving a stiffer, stronger chassis without a big weight penalty.

A hollow, CNC-machined bottom bracket and chainstay yoke delivers excellent tyre and chainring clearance while seriously stiffening up the power zone. The 12 mm bolt-through rear axle uses an expanding wedge design that locks solidly into a custom tapered insert in the dropout, so it will not work loose even under heavy street abuse. Reinforced Post Mount disc tabs on frame and fork (up to 185 mm rotors) mean the callipers bolt straight on with perfect alignment, while exclusive seatstay and chainstay profiles improve crank and heel clearance and keep the rear triangle clean with an integrated tensioner mount.

Up front, the Hex Team fork combines a tapered steerer with a light, strong crown and a 15 mm through-axle for maximum stiffness and steering precision. The captive bolt and cover system keeps the axle hardware in place when you remove the wheel, and extra crown clearance makes routing the front hose through the steerer (via the screw-in top cap) straightforward for barspins and tailwhips. Spec is pure high-end: Trialtech Sport forged stem, Inspired Team riser bar and Lizard Skins MacAskill grips handle steering. A Truvativ Descendant 7K crankset with custom direct-mount sprocket/bashring, Inspired Team V3 pedals, KMC chain and the latest Inspired Team sprung tensioner give a bomb-proof drivetrain. Magura MT7 HC3 brakes offer huge, finely tuned power front and rear. Wheels are built with Hope Pro 5 hubs, Sapim Race double-butted spokes and Hope Fortus 30 rims, finished with Continental Race King tyres to create a fast-rolling, brutally tough 26" street wheelset.
