2025 Select+ specification of the Edith, supplied with Extention's latest freehub, 16T CNC sprocket and Spank-inspired AS35 rims.
While the Edith used to be the stiffer, stronger offering from Extention, the latest changes to the Heimdall have somewhat closed the gap between these bikes. Currently this bike features one major improvement - the use of vertical dropouts with cutouts which securely locate the rear wheel. This means that when landing big tricks, it's impossible for the rear wheel to shift in the dropouts, something that can happen with horizontal dropout bikes. This solution is paired with Extention's excellent sprung chain tensioner which hides neatly under the chainstay.
We consider the geometry of Extention bikes to be among the very best with standard measurements not reflecting what makes this bike so versatile - a longer front triangle and shorter fork rake. This is the first short wheelbased street-trials bike to have ample wheel clearance for barspins.
