Single wall version of the Sport rim, the SL has undergone extensive testing to make sure that removing the outer wall from the rim has not impcated durability significantly. Placing the valve stem on the rim joint has allowed the placement of 1 additional weight saving hole. Despite being rather light this is still a very solid rim recommended for most riders out there.
